Repeat Prescriptions
Ways to order your repeat prescription
We have now introduced a dedicated prescription line which is open from 12.30pm to 3.30pm Monday to Friday. This line is strictly for orders only for patients aged 70 years and over who cannot order using any of our other ordering methods, for example coming to the surgery to hand in their slip, using our online services or ordering by email.
It is preferable that you order your prescription by email or online via your own patient record.
You may order repeat prescriptions by telephone, calling into the surgery, by Email or post. If you require a prescription urgently please make reception aware and we will try our best to arrange this for you.
You can order your prescription by:
- Calling 01429 282600 between 12:30 and 3:30
- Handing your completed repeat slip into the surgery
- By email – nencicb-tv.hartmeds@nhs.net
- Online – By either, SystmOnline or NHS App
- By post – Please include a stamped addressed envelope
(Please note – this method takes a little longer than 48 hours)
All repeat prescriptions will be ready for collection in 48 hours but please note that this does not include weekends.

Emergency Prescriptions
The Practice no longer provides emergency prescriptions. We ask that you do not ask staff to issue an emergency prescription. All staff have been told to refuse the request.
The practice procedure for prescriptions is to allow two working days.
If you are running low on medication, please contact 111. Ask 111 if they can provide an emergency supply.
What to do with old medicines
Take it to the pharmacy you got it from or bring it in to the surgery. Do not put it in your household bin or flush it down the toilet.
